The Old Days

What do Cher, Margaret Cho, and Chuck Berry all have in common? They’ve all enjoyed our catering services in the past!

Before coming to Zephyrhills, we had quite an adventure providing backstage hospitality catering for local, national, and international artists for more than five years at Sunrise Music Theater and other venues in the South Florida area. We were in the gift basket business and a customer, a chef for the Versace brothers, asked us to help cook after a show for Gladys Knight and the Pips at the Jackie Gleason Theater. As they say, “the rest is history!”

We were offered the job of providing backstage hospitality at the Sunrise Music Theater in Sunrise, Florida. Over the years, we served hundreds of celebrities and have many cherished memories, stories, and autographed photos.

When asked about our favorite celebrity to work for, we choose Cher. We spent four days with her, Cher’s sister, and a dozen guests. She didn’t want to be waited on hand and foot. Our least favorite celebrities to work for were Marilyn Manson’s group as they destroyed their room.

Now that we’re in Zephyrhills, we offer our customers the same star treatment we used to give the big name celebrities in the past.
